Early N. Davis, Jr., 86 of Frostproof passed away Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at Life Care Center of Winter Haven.

He was born Oct. 18, 1926 in Frostproof to the late Early N. Davis Sr. and Gladys Arrington Davis; he was a lifelong resident of the area. He was of the Episcopalian faith and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Masons and VFW.

Survivors include his daughter, Susan Jane Smith (Richard) of Ashville, NC; sons, Nick Davis (Robin) of Winter Garden and Bill Davis (Lisa) of Lake Wales; sister, Stella Gaines of Orlando; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
