The community is invited and encouraged to attend and participate in the upcoming Lake Wales Relay For Life. Fifteen teams are currently planning onsite fundraisers for the Relay event. Teams will provide activities and sell food and crafts in order to raise money during this American Cancer Society event. Entertainment will also be provided throughout the entire event.

Relay For Life of Lake Wales starts Friday, April 5 at 6 p.m. at Lake Wales High School. Survivors and caregivers are honored during special opening laps. Survivors are also invited to a special reception during the event. The Relay will continue until Saturday, April 6 at 12 noon. The community is invited to participate at any time during the event.
