In an effort to improve Internet communication with the citizens of Lake Wales, the city has enhanced its presence on social media through a more active Facebook page and a newly created Twitter account.

According to a press release, these outlets will provide direct communication from the city of Lake Wales to the citizens about commission meetings, meetings of the various regulatory and advisory boards, information related to the various city departments and other activities and events that the city is involved in. All interested persons are encouraged to “Like” The City of Lake Wales on Facebook and follow @CityofLakeWales on Twitter.
