On March 16 at 7:30 p.m., the Foothill Bluegrass Band brings three-part harmony and acoustic instrumentation to the Bok Tower Gardens Visitor Center. This traditional bluegrass performance will also include four-part harmony gospel selections.

Former schoolmates Scott Rowell and Dave Beaumont performed bluegrass music together on many occasions as teenagers. Several years ago, at a local picking party, they heard the golden voice of Bill Neely and the Foothill Band was launched. The present Foothill Band also includes bass sensation Ronnie McGalliard, renowned bluegrass banjo picker Ron Rimmer, and the multi-talented Donnie Harvey.
