Bowlin withdraws from mayor’s race

Ed Bowlin is not going to run for mayor of Lake Wales.
City Clerk Clara VanBlargan sent out an email late Wednesday afternoon that said Bowlin withdrew as a candidate for the office of Mayor/Seat 1 in the municipal election. Bowlin’s name will not appear on the April 2 election ballot.
