Burney Hayes, former substitute teacher and citizen coach at Lake Wales High School, is “seeking a lawyer and a job,” according to an email sent to The Lake Wales News by Tamiko Hodge.

Hayes, in a text message returned to The Lake Wales News, verified this information with a simple, “yes,” when asked if that were the case.
