Janie Howard Wilson Elementary fourth graders experienced the sound of a cracking bullwhip Wednesday (Feb. 6) when a real cowboy Brandon Mathews helped students understand their book “A Land Remembered” by Patrick Smith.

Mathews brought three bullwhips and put on a captivating demonstration for students.
