Citizens who are not registered to vote in the city election will have some opportunities to do so before the April 2 election.

The Polk County Supervisor of Elections is planning a voter registration drive next week in Lake Wales. Elections staff will be at Polk State College, 152 E. Central Ave., from 9 - 11 a.m. Feb. 25 and at the Lake Wales Health Department, 835 W. Central Ave., during the same hours Feb. 27.
