The Lake Wales Police Department will be adding some new wheels to its fleet.

The Lake Wales City Commission voted 5-0 Tuesday night to lease six Chevrolet Impala 9C3 unmarked police vehicles from Mears Motor Leasing for 60 months. It is a lease-purchase, which allows the city to purchase the vehicles for $1 each at the end of the 60-month term.
