Former LWHS coach Burney Hayes and his attorney Larry D. Hardaway entered a plea of not guilty on a misdemeanor battery charge involving a 16-year-old student from basketball practice.

Not guilty.
That’s the plea entered on Thursday, Feb. 7 by Burney Hayes, charged with misdemeanor battery on a 16-year-old LWHS basketball player.
