The Lake Wales Woman’s Club will host their 2nd Annual International Dinner and Fundraiser event on Friday, Feb. 15, from 5 – 7 p.m. at the clubhouse located at 275 E Stuart Ave. in Lake Wales. Come experience a delicious buffet-style dinner with recipes to sample from Germany, Norway, France, the Netherlands, Italy and Cuba. Local artist Tom Freeman has graciously donated an acrylic painting of the Kissimmee River, and Connie Miller, also a local artist, has donated an acrylic painting of an American Bald Eagle. A suggested donation for these drawing items is $5 for 1 ticket or $25 for 6 tickets. The drawing for the paintings will be held on March 9, 2013. Winners will be notified by phone.
