Mardi Gras Committee seeking help for event

"Fight Like A Girl" was this float's motto in the 2012 parade. What will 2013 Mardi Gras bring? The event always promises to be colorful and fun, with lots of activities for the family and numerous food and merchandise vendors.

The Lake Wales Mardi Gras Committee is looking for some help to cover the costs for the city’s big party.
Bill Ouellette, the committee’s president, said $5,500 would “close the gap.”
