A strategic planning session that lasted a little more than five hours Saturday at the James Austin Community Center resulted in a number of goals in the areas of business, recreation, parks and roads.

Members of the Lake Wales City Commission, City Manager Terry Leary and the department heads sat at tables in a U-shaped configuration. They were joined by other members of the city staff as well.
