During an 11-month trip that had her at the Great Wall of China one week and shark diving off South Africa the next, Sara Norton said the greatest thing she learned during her extended getaway came while working in a corn field in Mozambique.

Norton said it was 108 degrees and she was talking with a man about churches in America and churches in Africa.
