American Legion Post 71 building being refurbished

The American Legion bought back the building it had previously occupied.

American Legion Post 71 is buying back the building it built more than 60 years ago in Lake Wales.
The building, which is located at 43 W. Park Ave., was dedicated in January 1949, said Ira Anderson, commander of Post 71. Construction began in 1948.
