When Rob Quam prays, many people say God listens. A powerful spirit fills the room when the executive director of the Lake Wales Care Center provides the invocation at community meetings. Now, during this season of giving, Quam prays that the community will remember the Center that gives so much to people in need.

“Instead of doing some impulse buying for someone who already has everything, you can give a Care gift card in the name of your boss, employee or special friend,” said Quam, as he spoke to the Kiwanis Club of Lake Wales, presenting copies of the colorful Care Catalog and the popular “Things I care to do today” note pads.
