The Lake Wales Rotary Club took its Tuesday meeting on the road to Water’s Edge of Lake Wales and learned about the senior retirement community. Tom Burgulis, executive director at Water’s Edge, gave a presentation and talked about the benefits of a retirement community and some of the amenities that include all utilities, scheduled transportation, urgent response system, life enrichment programs and a wellness program.

There are 126 units, including 80 apartments and villas, 30 assisted living units and 16 memory care units.
