Minimum wage to increase

Diners shouldn’t be surprised if they see higher prices in Lake Wales restaurants next year as Florida’s goes up 12 cents.
The minimum wage will increase to $7.79 an hour as of Jan. 1, 2013. The hourly wage for tipped employees will go up to $4.77.
