There was talk of employees taking furlough days and city department heads were instructed to cut back during budget workshops earlier this year.

Now, Lake Wales is considering giving its employees a $200 Christmas bonus. It will be discussed at the Nov. 20 Lake Wales City Commission meeting that begins at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 201 W. Central Ave.
