You may know a homeless student, but not realize it. Few people want to talk about the problem. Fewer still know what to do about it. That’s why the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Dick Pope Polk County Chapter collects new hygiene products every year during Project Fill-a-Bucket and Fill-a-Bag.

Polk County Fire Rescue (PCFR) Chief David Cash has 30 drop-off locations throughout the county, and Sharon Casey with Community Southern Bank, has three branches where products will be collected. They kicked off the campaign with FPRA President Jenny Baker and board members Marybeth Soderstrom, Sheree Saulter, Danny Kushmer and Pamela Crain.
