Smiling like a proud father, Jesse Jackson, superintendent of the Lake Wales Charter Schools (LWCS), kicked off the first Lake Wales Elementary Turkey Football Jamboree Tuesday morning.

Legion Field was packed with students, families, faculty, staff and community members whose thunderous applause set the tone.
