The first-ever Lake Wales Elementary Turkey Football Jamboree will kick off on Tuesday (Nov. 13) at Legion Field.

The Turkey Football Jamboree is a motivational sports event for 5th grade students, who must have good grades and behavior to participate. Elementary flag football teams will play each other in brief games, starting about 9:30 a.m. and ending about noon. The morning will begin when student spectators, cheerleaders, and football teams begin arriving before 9 a.m. with welcomes, and cheer routines from each school.
