There’s a lot going on these days as Keep Polk County Beautiful, Inc. gears up for its Annual Awards Ceremony Dinner and Silent Auction Fundraiser on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at 6 p.m. at Bok Tower Gardens.

Several awards will be given out at this prestigious ceremony to businesses, community groups, non-profit organizations and individuals who have a goal of cleaning up and improving communities. This includes litter prevention, beautification, minimizing the impacts of solid waste in the county and improving the general aesthetics of Polk County by utilizing eco-friendly methods.
