Since the very beginning of early voting, a steady steam of citizens have been arriving at the Bartow city hall building. Most times people immediately enter the side door leading to the room that normally serves as the commission chamber, but upon occasion a line develops. However the wait never is long.
That was not the case the first day, Saturday, Oct. 27. Almost immediately, before the polls opened, a line formed and lasted throughout most of the day. Wait time that day ranged from an estimated 20-40 minutes. Despite the line and the wait, people appeared to be in good spirits.
