Lake Wales commissioners are going to give a good look-over to maintenance, utility, insurance and other costs of parks and recreational facilities run by the city in during a special workshop meeting Tuesday.

In a memo to commissioners dated Oct. 2, City Manager Terry Leary noted that the cost of the those things runs close to $1 million a year.
