‘Bells in my blood,’ Geert says

Bok Tower Gardens carillonneur Geert D'hollander rings 16-ton Bourdon bell 26 times to honor victims slain in school massacre.
Geert D’hollander made a lasting impression the first time David Price heard him play the carillon more than 20 years ago.
“The first time I heard him, I said he plays like no other carillonneur I’ve heard and we had a couple of International Carillon Festivals by that time,” said Price, who has been at Bok Tower Gardens for 25 years and is now the president. “This guy is different. He has been back here several times and I always thought boy... he is one of the best, if not the best, and it would be neat to be able to get him here,” Price added.
