Dale Gray and his assistant Justin Torkildson putting the final coat of paint on the Lake Wales cannon. After the 1927 restoration of the frigate USS Constitution the cannon was donated to the City of Lake Wales. It will be placed adjacent to the Depot Museum and rededicated on Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. "Painting and Pressure Washing by Dale," located in Indian Lake Estates, donated the labor to sandblast, prime and paint the cannon.
