The Lake Wales News invites the community to participate in a local straw poll, the results of which will be reported in The Lake Wales News weekly until the National Presidential Election takes place.

A ballet box will be on the counter at The Lake Wales News office located at 140 East Stuart Avenue. No name is necessary for entry. Two shades of paper will be available. No writing of the candidate or the entrant’s name is necessary, simply take the piece of paper for your candidate, fold it and put it in the box. Red paper will be on hand for Mitt Romney voters and blue paper will be available for President Barack Obama voters.
