Students learn about bullying from one who experienced it

Jaylen Arnold spoke to students at Crystal Lake Middle School and Crystal Academy of Science & Engineering on Wednesday, Sept. 5, about Taking a Stand Against Bullying.

Jaylen knows the sting of bullying. Diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome and autism, Jaylen has been bullied and decided to turn it into a positive. In 2009 he started Jaylen’s Challenge, which educates potential bullies about the hurt they can cause others.
