“I’m so thrilled that at least once in a lifetime, I got to be a part of all this,” said Jennifer Nanek, president of the Lake Wales Democrat Club, and a delegate to the Democratic National Convention this week.

Nanek, who is also Special Projects Manager for the City of Lake Wales, was elected last May to be one of Polk County’s representatives at the DNC, where President Barack Obama was officially nominated Wednesday as the Democratic presidential candidate for November’s race.
