The only dog park in Lake Wales is officially opened as

Lake Wales City Commissioner Betty Wojik cuts the ceremonial ribbon. The park is located next to Holy Spirit Catholic Church. There are areas for big and little dogs

to frolic.

Ian Galloway is inducted as an official Eagle Scout beside his dad, Chuck Galloway, during the official ceremony. The
induction was held at the Lake Wales Dog Park. The dog park was Galloway's service project to become an Eagle Scout. Various community leaders of Lake Wales and local businesses also contributed to help make the park a reality.
