Most law enforcement agencies in Polk have vehicle program

Most of the municipalities in Polk County as well as the sheriff’s office have an assigned vehicle program and - not surprisingly - law enforcement people are strong advocates of it.
“The car is just as important to the officer as their weapon,” Winter Haven Police Chief Gary Hester said.
