With the start of school just three weeks away, a number of Polk school district principals have been assigned to new campuses.

In Lake Wales, Matt Burkett and Sharon Chipman will trade places, with Burkett moving to Lake Alfred Elementary and Chipman taking the helm at McLaughlin Middle and Fine Arts Academy. Chipman was at a conference in Bradenton this week and not available for comment. Burkett was not available for comment as of press time.
