Everyone votes in the Aug. 14 Primary Election and absentee ballots are now available for those wishing to vote by mail.

Voters can request a mail ballot by phoning Election Headquarters at 863-534-5888 or by visiting the Supervisor of Election’s website at polkelections.com. A ballot will be mailed as soon as the request is processed, usually within 24 hours. Voted ballots must be returned to Election Headquarters, in Bartow, by 7 p.m. on Aug. 14.
