Weech offers to serve as recreation director

The Lake Wales Recreation Advisory Board ran through all the details Monday that keep activities running smoothly: the need for showers to be opened in the Kirkland gym, what’s going on at the Y, and exhibits coming up at the Depot Museum.
During the last five minutes of the meeting, Leon Weech offered to serve free of charge as the city’s recreation director.
