Having wrapped up production of “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” the story of a small town girl who goes to the big city, several local students recently followed in Millie’s footsteps.
A group of 38 students from McLaughlin Middle School and Fine Arts Academy put in many hours of hard work, raising funds to pay for a June trip to New York City and Washington D.C. Sixth- through eighth-graders signed up in October, according to school officials, and each deposited $100 toward the trip.
