State Sen. JD Alexander has left the board of directors of the Atlanticblue Group, the Lake Wales-based land development and real estate management company.

Alexander resigned as president of the family-owned company earlier this year to assume a more active role in Alico Inc., a land management company in Fort Myers. Alexander became CEO and president at Alico in early April.
