There was singing, amusing stories from family members, a 21-gun salute by the VFW and even a special flyover in honor of Vita Hinshaw.

A couple of hundred people came out on a hot and steamy Friday morning for a Celebration of Life for the longtime owner of Chalet Suzanne Restaurant and Country Inn. Hinshaw passed away June 16 at the age of 89.
