Adam and Megan (Iliff) Smallwood are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Carson John Smallwood. He was born at 11:47 a.m. in Birmingham, Ala., on Jan. 18, 2012, arriving at 6 lb. 12 oz. and 20 in. long.

Maternal grandparents are Bob and Vicki Iliff of Lake Wales and paternal grandparents are Ronnie and Lorrie Smallwood of Decatur, Ala. Carson was born on the birthday of his
maternal great-grandfather,
Dr. Robert G. Weber of Lincolnshire, Ill. His middle name, John, is in
honor of both of his paternal great-grandfathers and his father.
