The Lake Placid Green Dragon boys varsity basketball team came roaring back from a disappointing first half to make a game of this one in the second. The rally wasn’t quite enough, however, and the Okeechobee Brahmans defeated Lake Placid, 71-64, Friday night, Jan. 25, in a game played there.

Okeechobee found everything going its way in the initial quarter, taking a 24-9 lead over the Dragons. The halftime score was 40-22 at the half.
