The Lady Dragon J.V. basketball team led this game throughout the first half and were tied at 35-all at the end of three, but the Avon Park Red Devils came back with a 10-5 run in the final quarter to nip the Lake Placid squad, 45-40, in a game played in Avon Park Friday, Jan. 18.

“They just came back and got us,” was the comment of Lake Placid varsity Coach Jackie Coyne whose daughter, Kayla, coaches the Dragon junior varsity.
