Despite carrying an 18-18 tie into the locker room at halftime and leading the game, 27-26, after three quarters, the Lake Placid Green Dragon boys’ junior varsity basketball team went down to a 39-34 defeat at the hands of the Frostproof Bulldogs Monday evening, Jan. 14, in a game played there.

The host Bulldogs took a 14-8 first-quarter lead, but the Green Dragons, behind stalwart play by Ramon Galaviz and Isaac Neverson who scored 4 points each along with point guard Kaetwon Lowe who added 2, pulled the game back to an 18-all tie at the half.
