Giving their fans something special to cheer about on the night the LPHS gym was dedicated to the memory of Bill Ross, the Lake Placid Green Dragon boys’ junior varsity basketball team found the range and blasted the Fort Meade Miners, 51-33, Friday night, Jan. 11. “We really bounced back strongly from those two losses early in the week,”said Coach Jonathan Simon.

Fort Meade found the going rough from the beginning as Lake Placid rolled out to an 11-1 lead in the first quarter and made it 22-10 at the half. The third-quarter score was 40-22.
