The Alex Barajas Foundation’s 2013 edition of its 5K Run/Walk takes place this Saturday, Jan. 12, setting off from the Lake Placid Christian School at 148 E. Interlake Boulevard at 8 a.m.

Early registration for the event ended Tuesday, but late registration is still being received and one can contact Elvia Barajas by email at elviabarajas24@gmail.com for more information. Late registration will also be received the day of the race at 7 a.m. The entry fee is $30.
