After a slow start, the Lake Placid Lady Dragon junior varsity basketball team kicked things into high gear and rolled to a 51-17 win over the Clewiston Tigers in a game played here Monday night, Dec. 17.

The visitors played their best basketball in the first three or four minutes of the game. Taking advantage of some loose play by the Lady Dragons, the Tigers grabbed steals and lay-ups to take a 6-0 lead with 5:22 showing on the scoreboard clock.
