The Lake Placid Elks Lodge 2661 along with the Lake Placid Middle School Athletic Department will hold the annual Elks Hoop Shoot Free-Throw Contest Saturday morning, Dec. 15, at the high school gym.

The competition is free to all youths ages 8-13. Boys and girls participate in separate contest/divisons and there are three age categories: 8-9, 10-11 and 12-13. Contestants must be 8 years old and no more than 13 as of April 1, 2013. A copy of the child’s birth certificate will be required at registration.
