The Lake Placid Green Dragon junior varsity boys’ soccer team made the trip to Frostproof Thursday evening, Dec. 6, and came home on the short end of a 2-0 score at the hands of the Bulldogs.
“We got caught early on a pair of goals they scored in the first half, but I thought we played much better in the second half,” said Lake Placid J.V. Coach Edgar Vazquez. “We had a good number of shots on goal but nothing went in, but I think we’re getting better every game. A lot of our boys are playing high school soccer for the first time,” the coach added.
