It appears the Lake Placid Town Council is leaning toward a reorganization that would change the town’s leadership structure. That change could see Police Chief Phil Williams being named town administrator and in charge of day-to-day operations.

We support the idea and encourage Mayor John Holbrook and the Town Council to proceed with the proposal. Williams has proven himself to be a solid administrator with a keen eye for detail.
