Back in the day, as the popular saying goes, it was common for folks to make New Year’s resolutions. We all rolled into January as if we were rolling into undiscovered territory. It was open season on new ideas, new plans and, basically, a new you.
These days, you don’t hear about New Year’s resolutions quite so much. They seem to have passed out of favor. We’re not sure why that is, but we should take advantage of the opportunity to bring back this time-honored tradition. Readers will have to make their own personal resolutions if they want to jump on the wagon, but we would like to have the community as a whole resolve to make some changes.
