Stevens Family to be at Assembly of God
Sunday will feature special Gospel music presented by The Stevens Family at 10:45 a.m. at First Assembly of God in Lake Placid.
The Stevens Family travels the United States extensively with a wide variety of gospel music. They have been featured on the Gaither videos.

lists busy week’s schedule
Sunday morning worship service is at 10:45 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Placid Lakes with Pastor Jeff Taylor giving the message.
The church group Older Adults Sharing In Service meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Everyone is invited to join this group of senior adults meeting together for fellowship and fun.
The church will host its annual Fall Festival on Friday, Oct. 25 from 5:3o to 8 p.m. The community is invited to attend this free celebration. Activitiesinclude a Christian costume contest, gift cards, free giveaways, games, hay rides, face painting, wild hair styles, balloon animals, jumps, hot dogs, sodas, sno-cones, popcorn, ice cream, and lots of candy.

Middle and high school students will meet for Youth Fellowship in the Lighthouse from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
The men’s prayer group meets on Wednesday morning at 6 for prayer, followed by breakfast. Men from the community are welcome.

‘November to Remember’
at Temple Church of God
“November to Remember” will set the theme for Sundays next month at Placid Temple Church of God, located at 51 Lake June Road, Lake Placid.
Sunday, Nov. 3 will be Family and Friends; Freedom will be the theme Sunday, Nov. 10 with a salute ti veterans and active duty military; Nov. 17 will feature Faith Sunday; and Fellowship Sunday will be Nov. 24.
Sunday activities open with Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. Worship is at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesday worship is at 7 p.m.
The church is forming a co-ed softball league for adults. A sign-up sheet is available at the visitor booth in the church lobby. Practices are Saturdays at 10 a.m. at the Lake June Park softball field. Bring your bats and gloves.

Spirit Warriors cycle club

The Spirit Warriors, a new Christian motorcycle group, is forming at Bible Fellowship Church at 3750 Hammock Rd. in Sebring.
“We are seeking members to join us in spreading the love of Jesus while riding motorcycles with fellow Christians,” said spokesman Terry Ault. “Any type of motorcycle is welcomed.”

New Life Fellowship
introduces Life Groups
New Life Fellowship in Sebring is offering weekly Life Groups meetings Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m.
“Life Groups offer an opportunity to connect with others and grow in God’s Word,” said the Rev. Dereck Frymier. “Life Groups bring together, in a casual setting, a diversity of people who have a desire to further their walk with God and create new friendships.”
Everyone is welcome to attend. Meetings will be held in the homes of different Life Group members each week.
